NEW DELHI: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will release the notification for CLAT 2023 after July 15, 2022. The notification will be published on the official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The consortium has already announced that CLAT 2023 exam will be held on December 18, 2022., in offline mode.

Since the CLAT exam is scheduled to be held on December 18, the consortium may release the CLAT 2023 application form soon on its official website. CLAT 2023 scores will be used by 22 national law universities for admission to 5-year LLB and LLM programmes for the academic year 2023-24.

CLAT 2023 eligibility criteria
Eligbility for UG-CLAT 2023
Candidates who have passed Class 12 from a recognized board are eligible to appear in UG-CLAT 2023. Candidates who will appear in the board examination in April-May, 2023 are also eligible to apply for the national-level law entrance examination.
Candidates must have secured at least 45% or its equivalent grades in Class 12. The SC and ST candidates are required to secure at least 40% marks or equivalent grades in the qualifying examination.
Eligbility for UG-CLAT 2023
Candidates who wish to apply for PG-CLAT 2023 should have completed graduation in Law (3-year LLB or 5-year LLB) from a recognized university, with at least 50% aggregate marks. SC and ST candidates must have scored at least 45% aggregate marks.

CLAT 2022 third merit list today
Meanwhile, the consortium will release the third round of the CLAT 2022 merit list today, July 12, 2022. Candidates included in the merit list will have to complete the admission process by accepting and locking their allotment. They will also have an option to exit the admission process. Candidates who exercise the exit option will not be considered for admission in any subsequent stage.
