NEW DELHI: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has released the second round of CLAT 2022 seat allotment today, July 7, 2022. The CLAT UG and PG seat allotment lists are available for 22 NLUs participating in the counselling process. Candidates who have registered for CLAT counselling and submitted the registration fee have been considered for the seat allotment. Shortlisted candidates need to complete the fee payment by July 9, 2022.

Candidates can check the CLAT 2022 seat allotment by following the steps given below:
Visit the candidate portal of CLAT consortium - consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
Login using CLAT 2022 registration ID and password
Click on the second allotment list given there
Find your roll number and name to know about the allotment status

Candidates who have received the allotment now have three options:
Accept the allotted seat
Apply for upgrade
Exit from CLAT admission process
Candidates selecting this option will not be able to apply for upgrade, even if a vacancy arises in the next round of allotment. Such candidates will be required to upload their documents and complete the fee payment by visiting the official website of the allotted NLU.
Candidates are advised to check the list of documents required and the details about the fee payment on the official website of the allotted university. After successful completion fee payment, candidates will have to update the payment status in their CLAT registered account.
Candidates who want to apply for an upgrade are also required to upload their documents and complete the fee payment process. Candidates who have been allotted a seat but have not submitted the fees or uploaded the documents will not be considered for an upgrade.
Candidates exercising this option will not be considered for the CLAT admission process at any stage, in all rounds of the admission process. Fee payment guidelines for candidates who have been allotted NLU in first round
Candidates who did not secure desired NLUs can apply for third round of counselling on July 12, 2022. Earlier, the consortium had conducted CLAT 2022 on June 19, 2022, in 131 exam centres across the country. The result of the CLAT examination was announced on June 24, 2022.
