Candidates who have been allocated seats will have the options to freeze, float, or withdraw their seats from the further rounds of counselling.
CLAT Counseling 2024 Allotment List: Freeze option
If a candidate is content with the seat assigned to them and does not desire to engage in additional rounds of counselling, they can decide to freeze their seat. By selecting this option, the candidate confirms their seat at the designated National Law University (NLU) and will not be considered for subsequent rounds of CLAT 2024 counselling.
CLAT Counseling 2024 Allotment List: Float option
If a candidate is dissatisfied with the seat assigned to them and desires to engage in more rounds of CLAT counselling 2024, they have the option to float. This option allows a candidate to consent to the seat that has been allocated to them while also indicating their readiness to participate in more rounds of CLAT 2024 counselling in order to obtain a better seat. If a candidate chooses to float and is then assigned a seat in a future round, the seat allocated in the prior round is removed.
