CLAT 2026 provisional answer key to be released on December 10; raise objections by December 12

The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLUs) will issue the provisional answer key for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 on December 10, at 5 PM. Candidates can raise objections regarding the questions or the answer key through the designated portal, which will remain open until 5 PM on December 12. CLAT 2026 Answer Key LIVE

“The Consortium will release the Provisional Answer Key on its official website on Wednesday, 10th December 2025, at 5:00 PM. Candidates who wish to raise objections regarding the questions or the provisional answer key(s) may do so through the designated portal created for this purpose. The objection submission portal will open at 5:00 PM on 10th December 2025 and will close automatically at 5:00 PM on 12th December 2025,” the official notice said.

Candidates will be able to download the CLAT 2026 answer key and raise objections through the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. CLAT 2026 was conducted on December 7 across 156 centres in 25 States, 93 cities, and 4 Union Territories.

A total of 92,344 candidates registered for the CLAT 2026, with 75,009 applying for the Undergraduate (UG) programme and 17,335 for the Postgraduate (PG) programme. The male–female ratio of applicants was approximately 0.72:1.

The consortium states that the exam saw participation from 548 candidates under the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category. The Consortium appointed a dedicated Nodal Officer to ensure reasonable accommodation for all such candidates.

The steps to download the CLAT 2026 provisional answer key are given below.

• Visit the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in/clat-2026/.
• Log in using your registration number and password.
• Download the provisional answer key and check your responses.
• Click “Submit Objections”, select the questions, and provide justification.
• Review and submit objection.
• Once all objections are submitted, pay the required fee (if applicable).
