CLAT 2027 UG, PG registration starts tomorrow on consortiumofnlus.ac.in; apply by October 31

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will begin the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2027 application process tomorrow, August 3, at 10 am. Students will be able to apply for CLAT 2027 on the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in, till October 31. Consortium of NLUs will hold CLAT 2027 on December 6.

CLAT 2027 will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm across the country. As per the schedule, CLAT admit cards 2027 will be accessible to students two weeks before the exam date, as per previous year trends.

This year, there's no change in the CLAT 2027 syllabus and exam pattern .

CLAT 2027 Exam Pattern

CLAT exam will be conducted in offline mode and will include comprehension-based multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The question paper will consist of 120 MCQs divided across five sections, including English Language, Current Affairs including General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques.

Additionally, the CLAT 2027 exam convenor and paper setters will take the Expert Committee Report 2026's recommendations into account wherever possible.

An expert committee has been set up to evaluate different aspects of the CLAT 2027 exam , including question quality, paper structure, and syllabus. Students, experts, and the general public are invited to share their feedback or suggestions via the online feedback form by August 31.

CLAT 2027: How to apply? Fees required

The steps to apply for CLAT 2027 are as follows.

• Visit the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
• Click on the CLAT 2027 login link on the homepage.
• Next, click on the “New Registration” tab.
• Enter the CLAT 2027 registration details, such as your contact number, email address, and password.
• Enter the One Time Password (OTP) received on your mobile number to activate your account.
• Fill out the application form details and enter your test centre preferences.
• Upload the required documents and submit the application fee.
• Download the CLAT 2027 application form and keep it for your records.

General category candidates must pay a registration fee of Rs 4,000, while other students must pay Rs 3,500.

CLAT is a national-level admission test for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes offered by 26 national law universities in India. Admissions to the 5-year integrated LLB and 1-year LLM programmes that commence in the academic year 2027-2028 shall be through the CLAT 2027.
