NEW DELHI: The provisional answer key of the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is out. The National Testing Agency (NTA) which administers CMAT has issued the provisional answer key, recorded responses of the candidates and question papers. NTA has also provided the option to challenge the CMAT answer key by May 14. The final answer key and CMAT result will be released thereafter. CMAT 2023 was held on May 4. The official website to check and download the CMAT 2023 answer key is cmat.nta.nic.in.
CMAT was conducted for 400 marks. As per the CMAT 2023 question paper pattern, the 100 questions with 20 questions each from quantitative techniques and data interpretation; logical reasoning; language comprehension; general awareness; and innovation and entrepreneurship were asked.
The candidates, who are not satisfied with the answer key, may challenge the same by paying a fee of Rs 200 per question challenged as a non-refundable processing fee. Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the panel of subject experts. If found correct, the answer key will be revised accordingly. Based on the revised final answer key, the CMAT result will be prepared and declared.
“No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge,” NTA said.

Each question carried four marks

For each correct response, candidate will get four marks

For each incorrect response, one mark will be deducted from the total score

Unanswered or unattempted questions will be given no marks

To answer a question, the candidate needs to choose one option as correct option
