CS Foundation 2021 to be held in remote proctored mode; centre-based mode option also available
The online centre-based mode is kept for candidates who don’t have access to laptops or desktops, or have internet issues. ICSI will conduct the CS Foundation 2021 exam on August 13 and 14.

NEW DELHI: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has released a notification announcing that CS Foundation 2021 June session exam will be conducted through remote proctored mode. This will allow the candidate to take the exam from their homes or any place of their choice. Considering some students may face difficulty in taking the remote-proctored exam, the exam will also be administered in online centre-based mode at 36 centres across the country.
The centre-based option will allow candidates who do not have laptop or desktop facility or have any software / network related issues to take the exam at a test centre of their choice (which has to be one of the 36 available options).

The candidate can choose any of the two exam modes as per their convenience.
ICSI will send an email and sms to the registered candidates regarding this. All further information such as procedure, detailed instructions and related faqs will be available on ICSI’s official website shortly.

Note: Mobile phones are prohibited and candidates should not use them for the purpose of giving the CS Foundation exam.
Earlier, ICSI issued exam day instructions for all candidates who will appear in the exam. ICSI further will also conduct mock test for the candidates to make them familiarize with the remote proctored mode exam.
