CS Foundation 2021 June exams to begin from August 13; Know last-minute tips

ICSI will hold the CS Foundation exam in remote proctored mode. But candidates who do not have access to IT facilities can take the exam in centre-based mode.
NEW DELHI: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is all set to conduct the CS Foundation 2021 June session exam in online mode from August 13, 2021. It is mandatory for candidates to carry their CS Foundation admit cards . Given the pandemic situation, ICSI has provided candidates two different options for the exam - remote proctored and centre based.
Earlier, the ICSI released the exam day instructions for all candidates. The instructions were divided into three different sections - General, Special, and Operating.

Guidelines for CS Foundation remote proctored exam
Important guidelines that CS Foundation candidates need to keep in mind during the remote-proctored exam are.

Check details on the CS Foundation admit card carefully

Sit in a quiet place with a chair and desk/ table preferably with a plain backdrop

The area should be noise-free with no other person in the room.

Check your computer/ laptop and internet connection prior to the exam

Login 40 minutes before the commencement of the CS Foundation exam

Do not disable the fullscreen mode

Guidelines for CS Foundation centre-based exam

Check details on the CS Foundation admit card carefully

Reach the exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned in the admit card

Do not carry any unnecessary personal belongings with you to the examination centre

All candidates must wear a mask and carry a transparent water bottle

Do not form any groups outside CS Foundation exam premises

Do not forget to sign the attendance sheet in the exam hall

Move in a systematic manner during all times and follow the instructions of the invigilators
Note - Candidates adopting unfair means to qualify will be debarred from CS Foundation exam.
