NEW DELHI: The Central Seat Allocation Board has announced the dates for the CSAB 2024 supernumerary round. As per the schedule, the registration and choice-filling process for CSAB 2024 supernumerary round counselling will begin on August 16. Eligible candidates will be able to register for the CSAB 2024 supernumerary round through the official website, csab.nic.in. The last date to apply for the CSAB 2024 supernumerary round is August 19.
CSAB 2024 supernumerary round of counselling is conducted for candidates who meet the state of eligibility criteria for the four Union Territories including Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Lakshadweep and Kandvi, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Admissions are provided in the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Calicut, NIT Durgapur, and Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) Surat based on the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) 2024 rank.
CSAB 2024 Supernumerary Round: Eligibility
Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for the CSAB 2024 supernumerary round counselling given below.

All candidates who were eligible for Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA2024) or CSAB-2024 special rounds, based on their JEE (Main) 2024 ranks and whose state code of eligibility is one of the Union Territories mentioned above, and who do not hold a valid allocated seat in the NIT+ system after all rounds of JoSAA, CSAB-2024, will be eligible to participate in the CSAB 2024 supernumerary round of seat allocation.

Candidates who have already been allocated seats in the NIT+ system during the seven rounds of seat allocation and have not surrendered, withdrawn, or had their last allocated seat cancelled, are not eligible to participate in the CSAB 2024 supernumerary round.

Candidates who are occupying a seat through DASA-2024 will not be allowed to participate in the CSAB-2024 supernumerary round of counselling.

Candidates can check the sanctioned seats listed in the table below. The actual seats available for the CSAB 2024 Supernumerary Round will be updated in version 2 on or after August 15, 2024.
