NEW DELHI: The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has announced the seat allotment result for the CSAB 2024 supernumerary round today, August 20. Candidates who participated in the counselling process can access and check the CSAB 2024 seat allotment result for the supernumerary round by visiting the official website, csab.nic.in.
Candidates will require their application number and password to check the CSAB 2024 supernumerary round seat allotment result. According to the official notice, the board allocates seats based on merit according to the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2024 common rank list rank for the available seats.
The board will now commence the process of uploading the required documents, pay the supernumerary seat acceptance fee (SSAF), and complete the online verification for persons with disabilities (PwD).
Candidates from General (GEN), General-Economically Weaker Section (GEN-EWS), and Other Backward Class-Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) categories are required to pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs 45,000. For candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories who have received their first allotment, the seat acceptance fee is Rs 25,000. The last date to confirm the allotted seat and make the payment is August 22.
“During the document verification process, there may be queries raised by Verifying Officers. Candidates must resolve such queries by responding online through their account on the CSAB-2024 portal within the given scheduled timeline,” the CSAB information brochure read.

Candidates who are allocated a seat in the supernumerary round are required to upload the following documents on the CSAB 2024 supernumerary round portal.

CSAB supernumerary round is conducted for candidates seeking admission to the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Calicut, NIT Durgapur, and Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) Surat based on the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) 2024 rank.
