CSEET 2023: ICSI to hold retest tomorrow for candidates affected by technical issues

Check NowNEW DELHI : The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) will hold a retest for the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) 2023 tomorrow, August 1. The re-exam will be held for candidates who could not appear for the July 30 exam due to technical issues.
“It has been noticed that due to some technical issues, some candidates could not successfully appear in the CSEET which was held Sunday, 30th July 2023 through Remote Proctored mode. To facilitate such candidates, the Institute is giving one more chance to appear in the same. Re-test will be conducted on Tuesday, 1st AUGUST 2023,” said ICSI in an official notice.

The institute added that those candidates who do not appear in the exam scheduled for tomorrow will be marked absent. “Please note that this will be the last chance and in case of failure to appear in the CSEET on 1st August 2023 candidates will be marked “Absent” and no further communication will be entertained in this regard,” ICSI advised.
ICSI will send the batch timings, user ID and password for CSEET 2023 via email or SMS to each candidate separately. Candidates will have to appear in the retest using the credentials sent to them.
The institute urged candidates to download the CSEET 2023 admit card along with the instructions for the candidates from the official website, icsi.edu. Candidates have been asked to go through the instructions carefully before sitting for the exam.
“Also download the latest version of mandatory Safe Exam Browser (SEB) in advance in your laptop/desktop from which you will be appearing in CSEET,” ICSI further said. Candidates can check the process of downloading the SEB on the official website.
CSEET 2023 paper will comprise four papers carrying 35 questions each. The exam will be held for a total of 200 marks with each section carrying 50 marks.
