CSEET exam 2023 on July 30; ICSI issues exam day guidelines, exam pattern details

Check NowNEW DELHI: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) will be holding the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET 2023) on July 30. The institute has today announced the exam day guidelines for the computer-based remote proctored test. The CSEET mock test is scheduled to be held on July 27 and 28.
“In view of the Remote Proctored mode, the Viva Voce portion stands removed for the CSEET,” the ICSI said. Candidates will not be allowed to appear in CSEET 2023 by using mobile phone, tablet, palmtop. The exam will be conducted for a duration of 2 hours.
Candidates should download the ICSI CSEET admit card 2023 from the official website, icsi.edu, before appearing for the exam. They will be continuously monitored through video and audio mode by the supervisor, known as Proctor in the same manner as if they are appearing in the exam centre.
CSEET Exam: Requirements
- Candidates should installed SEBLite on the desktop or laptop having requisite technical requirements for the CSEET.
- Stable internet connection. Students should avoid hotspot or mobile or unstable internet sources.
- Fully charged laptop or power backup enabled desktop.
- Observance of instructions to candidates in true letter and spirit.
- Appearance in the mock test. They should not uninstall SEBLite uptill completion of CSEET.
ICSI CSEET: Exam day guidelines
- Candidates should keep CSEET hall ticket and photo ID proof handy before starting the online test.
- Should login 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
- No candidate will be allowed to appear in the test 15 minutes after the start of the exam and no candidate will be allowed to exit the exam until the expiry of 9l;0 minutes after the commencement of exam.
- Candidates are not allowed to use mobile, tobacco, earphone, headphone or any other gadget including pager, digital diary, calculator, bluetooth, smart watch, health band.
CSEET exam pattern
Aspirants are required to secure a minimum of 40% marks in each paper - paper- 1, paper -2, paper -3 and paper -4 separately and a aggregate marks of 50% in all papers put together for passing the CSEET. There will be no negative marking for incorrect response.
