NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration process for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) December 2023 today, December 4. Interested and eligible candidates can fill the application form on the official website at csirnet.nta.ac.in.
The application correction window which was supposed to be open from December 2 to 4 will now be available from December 6 to December 8.
The Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2023 exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 27, 28, and 29. The exam will consist of five papers: Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences. The duration of the exam is 180 minutes (three hours). The exam paper comprises objective-type questions. The medium of the paper is English and Hindi.
The registration fee for CSIR NET December 2023 is Rs 1,100 for general candidates, Rs 550 for reserved candidates, and Rs 275 for scheduled caste (SC) and scheduled tribe (ST) candidates. The exam fee can be online using debit or credit cards, internet banking, or UPI.
