CSIR SO, ASO Exam 2024: The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 444 vacancies in the department.
NEW DELHI: The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has announced the Section Officer (SO) and Assistant Section Officer (ASO) exam date 2024. The CSIR SO, ASO exam 2024 is scheduled to be held from February 5 to 20. Candidates can check the CISR SO, ASO exam schedule 2024 through the official website, csir.res.in.
The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 444 vacancies, of which 76 vacancies are for the post of Section Officer and 368 for Assistant Section Officer post.
The examination will be conducted in two sessions. CSIR Paper 1 will be held in morning session and Paper 2 in the afternoon session. The examination will be administered online in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Paper 1 examination scheduled from 10 am to 12 noon and paper 2 from 3 pm to 5:30 pm.
The CSIR SO, ASO admit cards will be issued at least 10 days prior to the start date of the examination. Candidates must download their CSIR SO, ASO admit cards using their registered email ID and date of birth.

The CSIR SO, ASO amdit card 2023 is a mandatory document for the exam day. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam if they fail to produce their admit cards.

- On the homepage, click on SO, ASO posts’ admit card link
- Enter your login details such as registration number and date of birth
- Click on submit button
- Download and take a printout of the same for future references.
