CSIR UGC NET 2023 edit facility ends today; admit card release date soon

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) December 2023 correction window today. The CSIR UGC NET exam 2023 will be held on December 26, 27 and 28.

Candidates will be able to make edits in the CSIR NET application form 2023 on the official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in, till 11.50 pm today. Candidates will be able to make changes in case of spelling mistakes in name, address, date of birth, educational qualification and error in choice of exam centre.

After the CSIR UGC NET 2023 edit facility closes, the NTA will issue the admit card soon. The exam is held to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for lectureship (LS) and assistant professor in Indian universities and colleges.

Candidates are required to opt for any one of the following subjects, chemical sciences, mathematical sciences, physical sciences, earth sciences, or life sciences.

The CSIR UGC NET question paper has three parts. Part A will consist of general aptitude with emphasis on logical reasoning, graphical analysis, analytical and numerical ability, quantitative comparison, series formation puzzles.

Part B will have questions on the subjects opted by candidates and Part C will contain higher order questions that will test the candidate’s knowledge of scientific concepts and /or application of the scientific concepts.
