CSIR UGC NET 2024 June registration begins; fee, schedule
CSIR UGC NET 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on June 25, 26 and 27.

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has commenced the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) 2024 June registration from May 1. The NTA has also issued the CSIR UGC NET 2024 June official notification. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to fill up the CSIR UGC NET 2024 June application form by visiting the official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in.
As per the CSIR UGC NET 2024 notification, the last date to fill the application form is May 21. However, candidates will get an opportunity to edit their already submitted CSIR UGC NET 2024 application form from May 25. The CSIR NET 2024 application correction facility will be available till May 27. CSIR NET June 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on June 25, 26 and 27.

CSIR UGC NET 2024 exam pattern
The CSIR UGC NET 2024 exam will be held online in computer-based mode. The CSIR UGC NET 2024 will have 2 papers. The duration of each paper is 180 minutes. There will be a total of 150 multiple-choice questions in each paper. The medium of CSIR UGC NET 2024 exam is English and Hindi. In CSIR UGC NET 2024, candidates will get 2 marks for each correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
The purpose of the CSIR UGC NET 2024 exam is to assess candidates' eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) as well as for Lectureship (LS), Assistant Professor positions in universities and colleges across India.
