CSIR UGC NET December 2023 cut-off increases for all categories; 6,988 candidates qualified

NEW DELHI: The Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) December 2023 cut-off and ranks have been announced today. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check the CSIR NET December 2023 cut-off and list of qualified candidates at csirhrdg.res.in.

CSIR NET December 2023 result was declared on February 4. A total of 2,74,027 candidates registered for the exams whereas 1,99,890 appeared.

As per the list of rankers, a total of 1,424 candidates have qualified in the CSIR JRF-NET test and are also eligible for the post of assistant professor. 23 students have passed the exam for JRF only.

34 candidates have qualified in the exam for JRF only and are also eligible for lectureship or assistant professor “subject to their fulfilling the eligibility criteria of UGC of having MSc or equivalent degree with the required % (either enrolled or appearing as on 04/12/2023 i.e. last date of submission of online application) as these candidates have not provided the relevant details about their MSc qualification or equivalent degree.”

Moreover, around 1,875 candidates have qualified for UGC JRF-NET and are also eligible for the posts of lecturers or assistant professors. Over 3,600 have qualified for assistant professor or lectureship. 30 candidates have qualified for the lecturer posts subject to their fulfilling the eligibility criteria of the University Grants Commission.
