CSIR UGC NET December 2025: The clarification comes after social media posts alleged pre-exam access to the question paper, and political leaders raised concerns over the conduct of the national-level test.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini dismissed claims circulating on social media regarding a leak of the CSIR UGC NET December 2025 question paper in the state. In an official statement shared through the Chief Minister’s Office, Saini said that the reports were incorrect and clarified that no CSIR UGC NET paper was leaked in Haryana. He said that the examination process was conducted in line with prescribed rules.
“The reports being circulated on social media regarding the leak of the CSIR-UGC NET paper in Haryana are entirely misleading, incorrect, and baseless. It is clarified that no paper of CSIR-UGC NET has been leaked in Haryana. All processes related to the examination have been conducted peacefully and transparently in accordance with the prescribed rules,” CMO Haryana posted in X.
The clarification was issued amid online claims and political reactions alleging irregularities in the conduct of the national-level examination. The Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research - University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) December 2025, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), was held on December 18.
The CSIR UGC NET December 2025 was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode to determine the eligibility for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and appointment as Assistant Professor, appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to PhD, and admission to PhD only in Indian universities and colleges.
CSIR UGC NET 2025 answer key awaited
The CSIR UGC NET 2025 provisional answer key has not been released yet. As per previous year timelines, the CSIR NET December 2025 answer key is expected to be released a few weeks after the exam. Candidates will be able to download the CSIR NET 2025 answer key from the official website at csirnet.nta.nic.in, once it is out.
Earlier claims on social media alleged that the CSIR UGC NET question paper had been accessed by certain individuals on December 17, a day before the examination, and that two persons were taken into custody from Sonipat in connection with the matter. It was also alleged that several students were coached using the purportedly leaked paper after paying money.
Based on these claims, senior Congress leader Kumari Selja criticised the state government and questioned the handling of competitive examinations. However, the statement attributed to the Chief Minister rejected these allegations and said that no paper leak occurred in Haryana.
