CTET 2018 application correction facility available now

Check NowNEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 6 – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the online application correction facility for CTET 2018. Correction or editing of details in CTET application form can be done from September 6 to 10, 2018. Candidates, who wish to make changes in the details entered while filling the application form, have to do so within the specified time frame. The board will not allow any request for change in particulars after the correction deadline.

To correct the details, applicants will have to login with their registration number, password and security pin. They can make correction in details like name, father and mother name, date of birth, category, differently-abled category, paper opted (Paper I or II), subject of Paper II, first choice of exam centre, language I and/or II opted, address and name of Institution/College/University from where they have studied B.Ed Degree/Diploma in Elementary Education. The facility to correct the details in CTET application form is permitted once.
Recently, CBSE has made amendment in CTET eligibility criteria. Now, candidates with Bachelors of Education (B.Ed) and applicants with 50% in graduation are eligible to apply for Paper I. Earlier, B.Ed candidates were only eligible for Paper II and there was no qualifying marks in graduation. Candidates, who have already applied for Paper II but wish to apply for Paper I too, can submit their application from September 6 to 15. Such candidates will have to pay the additional fees as applicable.
The Paper I and II exam of CTET is scheduled to be conducted on September 16 in pen and paper mode across 92 exam cities.
