CTET 2019 To Be Held Tomorrow; Check Last Minute Preparation Tips

NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 7: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct the CTET 2019 exam on December 8. The test is scheduled to be held at 2935 examination centres in 110 major cities across the country. The test will be held in offline mode for two papers - paper I and II. A total of 28,32,119 candidates have registered to appear in CTET exam wherein 16,46,619 candidates will take paper - I while 11,85,500 will appear for paper II.

CTET 2019 Exam Time Table

It must be remembered that only those candidates will be able to take the test who will have their admit card along with one of the prescribed ID proofs such as:

• Aadhar Card

• Voter ID Card

• Driving License

• PAN Card, Passport

• Employee ID Card

• College/University ID proof.

Candidate must follow certain guidelines that are given below as they gear up for the CTET 2019

Tips To Be Followed A Day Ahead Of CTET

• Do a quick revision from the spark note made during the preparation.

• No not panic and remain calm

• Pack your bag in the night itself and do not wait for the morning to keep the important things.

• Try to sleep early so that you can wake afresh.

Exam Day Tips

• Make sure you are carrying your admit card, photo ID proof and all the required items which you are allowed to bring at the CTET exam centre.

• Reach the examination centre 90 minutes before the commencement of exam

• Read all the instructions carefully mentioned on the admit card

• Do not go here and there after reaching the examination centre.

• While writing the CTET exam, keep track of time. Time management during exam is very important.

• While attempting the questions, do not waste time in solving questions you find difficult. Start with the easy ones.

• Since there is no negative marking, try to solve each and every question and do not leave it unanswered.

Steps Taken To Conduct Exam In Fair Manner

To conduct the exam smoothly, CBSE has deputed 4012 independent observers and 789 Board Representatives. Besides, 118 city coordinators have also been appointed to co-ordinate with the examination centres and to resolve various issues.

Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) is being conducted to determine the eligibility of the candidates as Teachers in classes 1 to 8. The test is held for two papers - paper I and II wherein those paper I is for becoming Teachers in classes 1 to 5 while paper II is for becoming teachers in classes 6 to 8.
