NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2022 session result. Candidates will be able to download the CTET certificate shortly from Digilocker. Meanwhile, candidates will be able to check and download it through the official website- ctet.nic.in and CBSE official website.

The CBSE CTET notice reads: “The result of 16th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education in online (CBT) mode during 28th December, 2022 to 7th February, 2023 has been declared and available at CTET website i.e. https://ctet.nic.in and CBSE website i.e. https://cbse.nic.in.”

The CTET December 2022 session exam was held from December 28, 2022 to February 7, 2023. Earlier, CBSE released the CTET provisional answer key on February 14. The last date to challenge the CTET 2023 answer key was February 17, 2023.

CTET is a national-level eligibility exam conducted by the CBSE twice a year. The exam is held to select candidates for appointment as teachers in Class 1 to Class 8 in Central Government Schools.

Candidates who belong to the General category need to score 60 per cent in CTET to fulfil the eligibility criteria, while the reserved category candidates need to score 55 per cent to be considered qualified.

Those who pass paper 1 are eligible to teach students from Class 1 to 5, and those who pass Paper 2 are eligible to teach from Class 6 to 8.
