NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2024) admit card for the December session exam. The CTET 2024 e-admit card download link has been updated on the official website at ctet.nic.in. Registered candidates will be able to download the hall ticket using the CTET application number, password, and security pin.
The CTET 2024 December exam is scheduled to be held on December 14. The exam will take place in two shifts-morning shifts from 9:30 am to 12 pm and evening shifts from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
The CTET admit card 2024 includes details such as the candidate's name, roll number, photograph, signature, exam date, reporting time, exam centre address, and instructions to be followed on the exam day.
The CTET is held twice annually. The CTET Paper 1 is an eligibility test for candidates who want to apply for the teachers’ post of Class 1 to 5. The CTET Paper 2 is the eligibility test for persons who want to apply for the teachers’ post of Class 1 to 8. Candidates who want to be a teacher for both positions will appear in both papers.

The CBSE Board has advised CTET candidates to refer only authentic textbooks and syllabus suggested by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for preparation in the area of education. The questions in the test for CTET paper I will be based on the topics in syllabus of the NCERT Classes 1 to 5 and Class 6 to 8,
CTET paper 1 will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes 1 to 5.
CTET paper 2 will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes 6 to 8.
A total of 8,30,242 candidates registered for paper 1 and 16,99,823 for paper 2. Of which, 1,27,159 qualified in paper 1 and 2,39,120 in paper 2, as per previous session CTET July results 2024.
