CUCET 2021: NTA releases application form; Exams on September 15, 16, 23 and 24

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the CUCET application form 2021 on August 16 at cucet.nta.nic.in. The last date to fill the CUCET 2021 application form is September 1 (11:50 pm). Candidates can pay the CUCET registration fee till September 2 (11:50 pm).

The CUCET 2021 application correction window will be opened on September 3 and will be available till September 4. The CUCET application fee for general, OBC and EWS category candidates is Rs 800, whereas candidates belonging to the SC, ST and Transgender category have to pay Rs 350. There is no application fee for PwD category candidates. The CUCET application fee 2021 can be paid using a credit card, debit card, net banking, Wallet and UPI.
The NTA CUCET exam 2021 will be held for admission to 12 central universities. The CUCET entrance exam will be held on September 15, 16, 23 and 24. The CUCET exam 2021 will be held in a computer-based mode for a total duration of 120 minutes.
The admit card release date of NTA CUCET 2021 will be announced later on. The MCQ based examination of CUCET 2021 will be held in two sessions, 10 am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 5 pm. The CUCET 2021 exam is scheduled to be held in 152 exam centres by the NTA.
The participating universities of CUCET 2021 entrance test are Assam University, Silchar, Central University of Andhra Pradesh, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Central University of Gujarat, Central University of Haryana, Central University of Jammu, Central University of Kerala, Central University of Punjab, Central University of Rajasthan, Central University of Jharkhand, Central University of Karnataka and Central University of South Bihar.
Earlier, the University Grants Commission (UGC) had announced that the common entrance test for admission to all the central universities proposed by the New Education Policy 2020 will be held from the academic session 2022-23. This year, the CUCET 2021 entrance test will be held for admissions to only 12 central universities.
