CUET UG 2022 Day 2 Exam Live : National Testing Agency (NTA) has concluded the CUET UG 2022 exam for day 2, with an overall attendance of 74%. Out of 1,945 candidates who were allotted the slots today, 53,670 candidates attended the CUET exam.
A total of 10 subjects exams were held in CUET slot 1 and 10 in slot 2. The largest test centre for CUET 2022 day 2 exam was Delhi University.
Jagadesh Kumar, chairman, UGC, said, “The examination was held in 247 centres across the country where the number of candidates allotted in the first slot were 35836 out of which 27642 attended. The attendance in slot 1 was 77%. In the second slot 26028 candidates attended out of a total of 36109. The overall percentage of attendance in the second slot was 74%.”

The CUET UG 2022 day 1 exam was concluded on July 15. The UGC chairman, Jagadesh Kumar on the Friday evening announced that no second chance will be given to the students who missed their CUET 2022 exam due to the last minute exam centre change.
The CUET UG 2022 entrance test for July 15 was also cancelled for two centres, New Jalpaiguri and Pathankot and over 190 students who were about to appear for the CUET exam at these test centres, will be allotted slots in phase 2 examination.
With more than 14,90,000 students appearing for the CUET UG 2022 exam, it has become one of the biggest entrance tests in the country. 8,10,000 candidates will be appearing in the first slot of CUET entrance test 2022 and approximately 6,80,000 candidates are expected to sit in the second slot. The CUET UG 2022 for phase 2 will begin from August 4 and will be over on August 20.
Candidates are advised to carry their CUET UG 2022 admit card on the examination day along with one passport sized photograph and one photo ID proof. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall if found without the CUET admit card 2022.

The next exam of CUET UG 2022 is scheduled to be held on July 19. The first slot CUET 2022 exam will be held from 9 am to 12 :15 pm and the second slot exam will be conducted from 3 pm to 6:45 pm.

The CUET UG exam day 2 was less chaotic as many who appeared on the first day helped students in understanding the pattern. The students said they learned lessons from the glitches on the first day.
"Yesterday was chaotic. Centres were changed at the last minute. So this gave us a heads-up and I kept on checking the website to see if there was any change of centre. To be on the safer side, I reached the centre two hours before the entry time. But I feel bad for those who missed their exams yesterday," said Sachin, a student, in a report by PTI.

The CUET 2022 will be conducted for around 54,555 unique combinations of subjects.

The universities providing admissions through CUET scores will use their own reservation policy for seat distribution and the minimum percentage required. The candidates from the reserved category must submit their original documents at the time of admission. It is advisable for the candidates to read the CUET 2022 reservation criteria and quota policies before applying for the admission.
The CUET 2022 entrance test have four sections. Section IA consists of one language test, section IB contain an optional language test, section II consists of domain-specific papers and section III comprises of the general test.
"Most students have reacted positively to the difficulty level of the exam as most of the questions were from NCERT, as expected. However, some students claim that a few questions were not from the NCERT syllabus," said, Ramnath Kanakadandi, National CAT course director, T.I.M.E.

He said that the English paper could be considered as easy with short passage based comprehension, vocabulary and grammatical analysis questions. Maths paper also could not be considered as difficult and required basic understanding similar to that of the board examinations.
General test was easy too and required basic knowledge of current and traditional general knowledge with questions from economics, government schemes, chief ministers, folk dances and poverty index that students found quite easy and doable. Logical reasoning had questions from analogy, blood relations and directions.
Domain subjects were mostly passage based with 5 questions each.
Apart from being simple, the paper was doable in terms of length too. Most questions required straightforward answers, thereby saving time.
Overall, almost everyone found the paper not lengthy and the difficulty level easy-moderate.
As this is the first year of the test at this scale, cut-offs of the CUET score for admission into various universities can only be understood after the admissions take place.
NTA will not release the CUET 2022 merit list. On the basis of the scores obtained by the candidates in the NTA CUET exam, the participating universities will release the CUET merit list. The CUET merit list 2022 will be used by the central universities for providing admissions in various courses.

Jagadesh Kumar, UGC chairman, has clarified that the students who have missed their CUET UG exams on July 15 because of the last-minute change in the test centre will not get the second chance to appear in the second phase exam, as per the report by Hindustan Times.
Candidates will be awarded 5 marks for each correct response. While answering the questions, the candidate should choose the most appropriate answer. The NTA will deduct one mark for every incorrect answer, as per the CUET 2022 marking scheme. No marks will be deducted for not answering a question.
The CUET 2022 admit card for phase 2 exam will be released on July 31.

The implementation of CUET 2022 will not change the admission process of School of Open Learning, University of Delhi. There will be no entrance test for DU SOL 2022 UG admission. "I had a hard time reaching the exam centre. They alloted me the fourth preferred city to me. Amravati or Wardha would have been closer. It was difficult for me especially because I am new to this city. I could not find any conveyance to reach and finally got an auto that took me to the spot. The exam was easy to attempt.
