CUET admit card 2022 for phase 2 exam by July 31: UGC chairman

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the admit cards for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2022 phase 2 exams on July 31, informed the chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC) M Jagadesh Kumar. He said that the CUET 2022 is being held in two phases to ensure that there is "good security" in the process of conducting the CUET exam. He also said that it is a common practice by NTA in all the exams it conducts such as the JEE Main, NEET etc.

CUET admit card 2022 for the first phase of the exam will be released today, July 12 after 6 pm, just three days prior to the exam, as the CUET 2022 is scheduled to be held on July 15. NTA released the CUET 2022 city information slip yesterday, July 11. Kumar asked the students not to panic and said that around 98 percent of candidates will get the first choice of exam centre city. Only about 2 percent will miss out on the first choice of the city, but they will surely get the second choice of the city, he ensured.

NTA has opened a helpline, to which students can call to solve their issues such as a change in exam city. They can also mail NTA through the given e-mail ID. Kumar ensured that NTA will look into the requests and cater to the needs of the students.

CUET 2022 is scheduled to be conducted from July 15 to August 20 across 500 in India and 10 cities outside India. NTA claims that more than 14.9 lakh candidates will write the CUET exam. However, about 8.10 lakh candidates will be writing the exam in the first phase and around 6.8 lakh students in the second phase, NTA informed. "These candidates have applied for 54,555 unique combinations of subjects across 90 universities," NTA claims.
