CUET PG 2026: Candidates can download the answer key, along with the response sheet and question papers, from the official website, exams.nta.nic.in/CUET-PG, once issued.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue the Common University Entrance Test - Postgraduate (CUET PG 2026) answer key soon. Once the CUET PG provisional answer key 2026 is published, candidates can use the marking scheme to calculate their scores and estimate their overall CUET PG marks 2026.
Candidates can download the CUET PG answer key 2026, along with the question papers and response sheet, from the official website, exams.nta.nic.in/CUET-PG, once published. The provisional answer sheets typically include the exam date, test paper code, shift, and correct options, along with explanations.
Students will be able to object to the CUET provisional answer keys 2026 before the given date by paying Rs 200 per question.

Once the CUET PG answer keys 2026 and response sheet are issued, NTA will activate the challenge window. The steps to object to the CUET PG answer key 2026 are listed below:
To calculate the marks, students need both the CUET PG provisional answer key and the response sheet in PDF format. Candidates will have to begin by comparing their responses with the answer key provided for their subject. The CUET PG score calculation formula is given below:
Total marks = (1*number of correct answers) - (0.25*number of incorrect answers) |
CUET PG marking scheme 2026
Particular | Details |
Correct response | +4 |
Incorrect response | -1 |
Unattempted questions | - |
The testing agency uses a normalisation method based on percentile scores for CUET PG 2026 test takers, ensuring that candidates are neither benefited nor disadvantaged due to the difficulty level or multiple sessions of the exams.
As per NTA, the percentile score indicates the percentage of candidates who have scored equal to or below that particular percentile in that examination. Therefore, the topper (highest score) of each session will get the same percentile of 100, which is desirable. Also, the marks obtained between the highest and lowest scores are converted to appropriate percentiles.
CUET PG 2026 percentile score is calculated as follows:
100 X Number of candidates appeared in the ‘Session’ with a raw score Equal to or less than the candidate/ Total number of candidates appeared in the session |
Note: The Percentile of the total shall NOT be an aggregate or average of the percentiles of individual subjects. The percentile score is not the same as the percentage of marks obtained.
The testing agency conducted the CUET PG exam 2026 from May 11 to 31 across the country. CUET PG 2026 results will be based on the final answer keys issued after the objections raised, if any.
