CUET UG 2023: DU CSAS admission form soon; University issues guidelines on programme preference, link

Download NowNEW DELHI: The registration for Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG 2023) is underway. The University of Delhi (DU) has issued guidelines for the candidates seeking admission to its undergraduate programmes. The university said that in addition to appearing in CUET UG 2023 , candidates will also have to fill the Common Seat Allocation System Undergraduate (CSAS UG) application form. The CSAS UG portal launched earlier will activate the registration link soon. The official DU admission website is admission.uod.ac.in.

While filling the CSAS UG 2023 form, DU said, the candidates will have to give preferences for combination of programme and college.

The university said that it has observed that at times candidates opt for programmes with the sole purpose of taking admission to a certain college despite having any prior knowledge or proficiency required to pursue the programme. Candidates are advised to go through the syllabi of all the programmes in which they wish to join the university, if offered, before giving the preferences on the CSAS UG 2023 portal.

Reiterating that admissions at the DU for the 2023-24 academic session will be made on the basis of merit score in CUET UG and preferences opted by candidates, the university said: “Admission once confirmed/ freeze to any Program will not be changed during the course of study.”
