Download NowNEW DELHI: The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2023 phase 1 and 2 recorded 69.3 percent attendance, University Grants Commission (UGC) chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar informed. The exams were conducted in 303 cities and 712 centers and a total of 14,88,375 candidates appeared for CUET 2023. The National Testing Agency (NTA) held CUET UG phase 1 exams from May 21 to 24 and phase 2 exams from May 25 to 28.

“CUET-UG began on 21st May 2023. The first phase was from 21st May to 24th May, and the second was from 25th May to 28th May. In both phases, the total number of students scheduled was 1488375, and the average attendance so far was 69.3%,” Kumar said in a tweet.

“NTA conducted the test in 303 unique cities and 712 unique centers in these two phases. The third phase is scheduled from 29th May to 2nd June and the fourth phase from 5th June,” the UGC chief added.
The third phase exams will be held from May 29 to June 2 while the fourth phase is scheduled from June 5. NTA has issued admit cards and city intimation slips for exams from May 29 to June 2.
Recently, NTA announced CUET UG 2023 exam dates and cities for students of Manipur. NTA has also provided an option to change the exam city for the candidates who have missed or didn’t appear in CUET UG 2023 due to the law-and-order situation.
