NEW DELHI: Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET UG 2024), the second largest entrance exam begins today with chaos. Students have been flooding social media platforms with complaints since yesterday stating that they are unable to download CUET admit card 2024 from the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/. In a late night reply, the NTA asked candidates to carry the already downloaded admit card to the exam centre. CUET 2024 Exam LIVE
The NTA issued the CUET UG admit card 2024 on May 13, however, students complained that the exam centre details were not given on the hall ticket. As the errors in CUET admit card triggered panic, the NTA advised candidates to download the hall ticket on May 14 evening. Further, it said that exam centres may change due to administrative reasons, which will reflect on the latest admit card.
Several candidates took to X and shared the screenshots of unresponsive exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/ official website. Some students also claimed that one or two subjects opted by them was mentioned in the admit card.
In response to this, the NTA yesterday midnight posted on X: “In case a candidate faces issues in downloading the latest Admit Card from the web portal, he/she should reach the Examination Centre with the Admit Card already downloaded by him/her and appear in the Examination.”
Additionally, the testing agency also postponed the CUET UG exam scheduled to be held today in Delhi centres to May 29. The admit cards for candidates appearing in Delhi exam centres will be issued later, it said.

Hours before the first day of CUET UG, students started tweeting on X tagging NTA and UGC chairman Jagadesh Kumar requesting to rectify the error in the hall ticket and official website. Several students and parents also claimed that they could not reach the NTA helpline number.
“The advice was for Admit cards to be downloaded in the 14 th evening. The Admit cards link is not working since the evening. We’re up trying to download. No go. It’s extremely stressful for students. Why is it so difficult to have a workflow when the task is so huge? What a mess!,” a student posted on X hours before the exam.
Another aspirant shared screenshots and video of technical errors faced and wrote: “Help Help @NTA_Exams not able to download cuet ug 2024 admit card. Tomorrow is Exam, site is not working. Not able to connect to helpline phone. I have been trying since evening.”
