NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for Common University Entrance Test undergraduate (CUET UG) 2024 till March 31. Interested candidates can fill the CUET UG 2024 application form through the official website, cuetug.ntaonline.in.
As per the original schedule, CUET UG city slip will be issued from April 30 onwards, and the admit cards will be released in the second week of May 2024.
The CUET UG exams are scheduled to be held from May 15 and 31, and the results will be announced on June 30. The exam is being held for admission to UG programmes for various central and state universities.
While filling the CUET UG 2024 application form, candidates will need the following documents-

Meanwhile, NTA has allowed CUET UG 2024 candidates to include two new test papers during the correction period. Earlier, the NTA had mentioned the addition of two new test papers - fashion studies and tourism - in response to frequently asked questions. However, today, it has officially notified the inclusion of these two subjects. With this update, the NTA will administer the CUET UG 2024 examination for a total of 63 subjects, comprising 33 languages, 29 domain-specific topics, and one general test.
According to the NTA, the addition of fashion studies and tourism papers to CUET UG 2024 is in alignment with the directives of the UGC and CBSE to promote skill-based subjects, in accordance with the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP).
