Download NowThe National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that nearly 92% of candidates who applied for a change in examination centre through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2026) re-allocation window have been allotted their preferred alternative centres. NTA shared that out of 16,681 candidates who requested to change centres, 15,340 got their preferred centres. NTA has also released the revised admit cards on the official website cuet.nta.nic.in.

Re-allocation Facility
NTA introduced the reallocation facility after several candidates raised concerns over being allotted examination centres far from their preferred cities. Aspirants flooded the social media platform 'X' with their requests and concerns, highlighting issues related to long travel distances, additional expenses, and safety concerns. Acknowledging this, NTA opened a reallocation facility for candidates after which-

- 3.4% (52,831 candidates) were eligible for the re-allocation window opened on May 5, 2026.
The post reads, "NTA acknowledges the inconvenience caused to affected candidates and is engaged with state authorities to expand secure CBT capacity in high-demand regions ahead of future cycles."

Steps to download CUET UG 2026 admit cards
Here's how to check CUET hall ticket
- Visit the official website cuet.nta.nic.in
- On homepage, look for latest news section
- Click on the link that reads, "Admit Card for CUET(UG) – 2026"
- Log in using application number, password and security pin
- Admit card will appear on screen
- Cross-check the details and download it
- Take its printout and carry the same to exam hall
Candidates must also carry a valid ID proof to the exam hall.

Candidates appearing for CUET UG 2026 are allowed to carry transparent water bottles inside the examination centre. Wearing articles or objects of faith is permitted, provided candidates report early for proper frisking; religious threads such as kalava are also allowed. For dress code, light-coloured clothes are preferred, while woollens are allowed if needed, with prior reporting for security checks.
