NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that it will declare the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG 2024) results on June 30. The second largest national-level entrance test was conducted for candidates seeking UG admission in central universities, state universities, and other participating institutions.

The CUET exam 2024 was held from May 15 to 24 in hybrid mode - computer-based test (CBT) and pen-and-paper mode. Around 13.48 candidates took the exam in 379 cities including 26 cities outside India. The NTA also held re-exam for 1.52 lakh affected students in Delhi, Faridabad, Gurugram, Noida, and Ghaziabad exam centres for seven papers.

Along with the CUET answer key 2024, the NTA will also host the challenge window on the official website. Candidates who wish to challenge the CUET answer key will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question.

As per the exam pattern, candidates were required to answer 40 out of 50 questions for all test papers and 50 out of 60 for the general test. For every right answer, candidates will be awarded five marks, one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer, and zero mark will be given to unanswered questions.

After the declaration of CUET results 2024, qualified candidates will have to participate in the counselling process for admission in desired colleges. They will also be allowed to apply for universities they have not opted for during the registration process. The NTA also instructed institutes to consider applications if they have appeared in CUET. However, applicants will have to fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the participating universities.
