Cochin university conducts the CUSAT CAT exam every year to grant admission to various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses offered by the institute.
The CUSAT CAT rank list 2023 is prepared on the basis of the percentile index of the candidates. Students who have secured a minimum of 10 marks in each section - mathematics, physics and chemistry combined - in the CAT exam will be allotted rank.
The following formula is used to calculate the percentile index- [(n+1-p)/n)]x S x 100. “n” denotes the number of candidates appeared in the CAT exam in a particular subject, “p” denotes the position according to the CUSAT CAT score 2023 and S denotes the actual score secured by the candidate.
