Delhi nursery admission 2024-25 registration begins tomorrow at edudel.nic.in; age limit

NEW DELHI: Directorate of Education (DoE) will begin the registration process for Delhi nursery admission 2024-25 tomorrow, November 23 in private unaided recognized schools. The admission schedule for entry level admission along with instructions to apply was issued in October for open seats other than EWS, DG, CWSN category seats.

Parents will be able to apply for nursery admission 2024-25 Delhi by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 25 through the official website, edudel.nic.in. The last date to submit the application form is December 15.

All private unaided recognized schools admitting children in pre-school, pre-primary and Class-1 will have to reserve 25% seats for EWS, DG and child with disability categories.

The DoE also directed the schools that the number of seats for the entry level should not be less than the highest number of seats in the entry level classes in the last three years, 2021-23.

The schools will be uploading the admission criteria and will declare the first list of shortlisted candidates along with the points earned by applicants on January 12, 2024.

Nursery Admission 2024-25: Age limit

For admission in the Delhi pre-school, pre-primary (KG) and Class-1, the minimum age should be three years, four years and five years respectively by March 31.
