A 19-year-old BSc student allegedly died by suicide in her hostel room in Delhi's Rajinder Nagar area, police said.

A 19-year-old third-year BSc Nursing student allegedly died by suicide by hanging in her hostel room in Delhi's Rajinder Nagar area, police said on Friday. The deceased student hailed from Najafgarh, Delhi.
Her body was discovered by fellow students, who took her to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. Afterwards, the Rajinder Nagar Police Station was notified about the incident by the hospital.
A police team arrived at the hostel, and a crime scene investigation team was called to examine the site.

Police said further inquiry is underway to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the student's death.
