NEW DELHI: The University of Delhi (DU) is inviting applications for the vice chancellor’s summer internship scheme for the June-July session 2025. Interested students can apply for the summer internship 2025 from the official website, dsw.du.ac.in, before the last date April 30.

The vice chancellor’s summer internship will be held for two months with a stipend of Rs 11,025 for each month.

DU’s summer internship is for two months from the time of joining in June and July 2025. Students will be given a certificate from the dean of student welfare at the end of the internship tenure. However, students who have already availed a summer internship are not eligible for the summer internship 2025 programme.

All students who are studying in Delhi University in any course or stream at undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) levels are eligible to apply for the summer internship programme 2025. Students who are in their final year or final semester are not eligible to apply for the internship.

DU Summer Internship 2025: How to apply?

The steps to apply for the internship scheme are as follows.

  • Visit DU’s official website, dsw.du.ac.in.
  • Scroll down and click on the ‘Vice Chancellor Internship Scheme (VCIS) Summer Internship 2025’ link available.
  • A new page will open, click on the form available.
  • Fill in the form with all the personal, academic details and other internship information.
  • Upload the required documents.
  • Submit the application form and keep a printed copy for future reference.

Additionally, students are required to upload a letter of recommendation from their principal and head of department while registering for the summer internship programme, without which their application will not be considered. Furthermore, the selection of the students will be based on interview, group discussion and letter of recommendation.
