Delhi University’s placement cell to host ‘job mela’ on October 8

Download NowThe University of Delhi’s (DU) Central Placement Cell (CPC) under the aegis of the Dean Students’ Welfare, will host ‘Job Mela’ placement and internship drive on October 8. The internship and placement drive will be held at the Indoor Stadium, Multipurpose Hall, Gate Number 2, DU.

Students enrolled in regular undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and PhD programmes of DU, including those who have graduated, are eligible to participate. However, students from the School of Open Learning (SOL) are not eligible.
There’s no registration fee to participate in the Delhi University's placement drive. Students who will receive a confirmation email have to report to the venue by 9 am. The placement drive registration will be closed after receiving 5,000 registrations.
CPC aims to assist students in securing placements and internships in reputed organisations across various sectors. It also offers career counseling, workshops, and logistical support to companies during the placement process.

DU Placement Drive: How to apply?
Students willing to participate have to visit the official website, placement.du.ac.in. The link for the ‘job mela’ will be available under the spotlight tab on the homepage. Candidates will have to click on the ‘Job Mela 2025 Student Registration Form’ link.
You will be redirected to a new page. A Google form will appear, fill in the details, and submit the placement and internship drive form by October 5.
Furthermore, the placement cell will also offer student handbooks, training sessions, and seminars to improve interview readiness, resume building, and overall employability. These initiatives will provide students with the necessary abilities to take advantage of the DU placement drive.
