Delhi University releases vacant seats after 5th cut off

NEW DELHI: The University of Delhi has released the vacant seats available at various Delhi University colleges after the admissions against the DU fifth cut off list are over.
The DU vacant seats after the fifth cut off lists have been released only for merit based programmes offered in several Delhi University colleges. For entrance based admissions, the DU vacant seats are expected to be out soon.
The seat matrix shows a good amount of seats left for both reserved and unreserved category students, however few colleges are left with no seats in unreserved category.
The Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College has 28 seats left in unreserved category for some popular programmes including BCom Hons. and BSc Hons. Chemistry. Bharati College is left with 85 seats in BA History Hons. programme. It in fact has seats available in all of its courses and categories.
Sri Guru Teg Bahadur College has 51 seats left for BCom Hons. programme in unreserved category students. Another college, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College also has 33 seats left for BCom Hons. The College of Vocational Studies offers 10 seats in BA Hons. Economics programme and 2 seats in BA (VS) Office Management and Secretarial Practice, rest all of the seats are occupied for unreserved category students.
The Delhi University has not received any seat data for colleges like Kalindi College, Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies and Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College.
The Women colleges such as Gargi College, Lady Shri Ram College, Mata Sundri College for Women, Miranda House, Janki Devi Memorial College and Indraprastha College for Women have few seats left for DU special cut off 2020 in all of the categories, while the Institute of Home Economics has shut the admission for unreserved category, as all the seats available in general category are already occupied before DU special cut off.
Deshbandhu College, Hansraj College and Dyal Singh Evening College are the three colleges which have closed admissions for general category students.
The varsity has deferred the spot admissions for DU UG entrance based programmes and DU special cut off release, as many Delhi University officials have been tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. The new schedule for DU special cut off 2020 and spot admissions will be notified soon.
