Dharmendra Pradhan launches capacity building plan for 3 departments under Mission Karmayogi

The initiative has been launched by the MSDE, DoHE, DoSEL and the Capacity Building Commission under the Mission Karmayogi of union government.
NEW DELHI: Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan today launched the ‘Annual capacity building plan’ (ACBP) and ‘Know your ministry induction module’ of the ministry of skill development and entrepreneurship (MSDE).
The initiative has been launched by the MSDE, department of higher education (DoHE), department of school education and literacy (DoSEL) and the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) to make government officials future ready and efficient in public service delivery.

Know your induction module of MSDE
The MSDE also informed about the Know Your Ministry: Induction Module, a digital, interactive e-learning training module. It is available on iGoT Mission Karmayogi platform for self-paced learning of the officials.
The initiative is part of the union government’s Mission Karmayogi, which aims at capacity building and improving the skills of officials. Union government has constituted CBC with a view to drive standardisation and harmonisation in the Indian civil services.
The MSDE said the ACBP will help in rolling out various capacity building interventions for the officers in the ecosystem in a regularised and a planned manner. Member (administration) of the CBC Praveen Singh Pardeshi gave presentation on developed ACBP of MSDE. R Balasubramaniam, member (HR), CBC, highlighted the role of DoHE and DoSEL in ACBP.
Training module for DoHE directors
The training module for directors of academic institutes of DoHE, in the line with the New Education Policy 2020, was also launched. Dharmendra Pradhan said, “The launch of the capacity building plan and Know Your Ministry Induction Module of MSDE will make the civil services officials future ready. These initiatives will ensure that competencies are built in our ecosystem for effective public service delivery for India’s citizens, enabling policies conducive to economic growthand.”
Minister of state Rajeev Chandrasekhar, MSDE secretary Atul Kumar Tiwari, DoSEL secretary Sanjay Kumar and DoHE secretary K Sanjay Murthy were also present on the occasion.
