Dhirubhai Ambani University begins MTech admission process for GATE, non-GATE candidates

NEW DELHI: Dhirubhai Ambani University, formerly known as Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), has begun the Master of Technology (MTech) admission process for both Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) and non-GATE candidates. The university will conduct the entrance test for non-GATE category candidates on June 15, 2025.

The registration process for the MTech admission is ongoing and the last date to fill out the application form is May 20. Eligible engineering aspirants can fill out the application form through the official website at daiict.ac.in. To submit the application form, candidates will have to pay a non-refundable application fee is Rs 1,500, with an additional 18% GST, bringing the total to Rs 1,770.

Dhirubhai Ambani University MTech Admission: Specialisation areas

According to the institute's official website, the Master of Technology in Information and Communication Technology (MTech ICT) is a full-time, two-year programme designed to equip students with expertise in computing and communication systems.

The programme will cover areas such as machine learning, data analytics, cyber security, distributed computing, software engineering, embedded systems, VLSI design, nanoelectronics, 5G and wireless communication, satellite communication, IoT, and sensor networks, preparing graduates for careers in technology, research, and development.

Selection process

For admission through the GATE channel, candidates must have a valid GATE score in Electronics and Communication Engineering (EC), Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Science and Information Technology (CS), Instrumentation Engineering (IN), or Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA).

Non-GATE candidates will be selected based on an entrance test conducted at selected centres across the country, with the final merit list prepared based on the aggregate score in the test. Candidates can choose up to two preferred specialisations based on their eligibility.
