DHSE Kerala plus two result 2021 declared; 87.94% students pass

NEW DELHI: The Department of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) has declared the plus two result 2021 Kerala today at 3 pm. General education minister V Sivankutty announced the Kerala Class 12 and vocational higher secondary results in a press conference. A total of 3,78,702 regular students appeared in the exams, out of which 3,28,702 passed the exam. This year, the overall pass percentage of Kerala plus two exams is 87.94%.

This year, the pass percentage has increased by 2.81% and has reached 87.94% compared to 85.13% in 2020.

Amid Covid-19, DHSE, Kerala conducted the Class 12 exams from April 8 to 26, 2021. A total of 79 evaluation centres were set up by the board for higher secondary and 8 evaluation centres for vocational higher secondary. The practical exams were conducted after the Class 12 theory exams. Know the complete statistics here.

• Total number of regular students appeared in the exam - 3,78,702

• Total students passed - 3, 28, 702

• Overall passing percentage in Science stream - 90.52%

• Overall passing percentage in Commerce stream - 89.13%

• Pass percentage in Humanities stream - 80.4%

• Number of students appeared in Kerala plus two exams from open school - 47,121

• Total students passed in open school - 21,292

• Number of students appeared from unaided - 23,358

• The overall passing percentage for unaided - 87.67%

• A total of 136 schools have recorded a 100% passing percentage.

Kerala plus two result 2021 - District wise performance

• Ernakulam district has outperformed other districts with overall 99.12% passing percentage.

• Pathanamthitta secured the least pass percentage with 82.15%.
