Predict NowThe National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will reopen the application process for Theory & Practical and Only Practical Examination – DNB Final December 2025 session. Candidates can apply for the DNB final December 2025 application for ‘only practical’ exams from December 4 to 17.

Candidates who have already submitted their applications are not required to apply again.
“Pursuant to the representations from several candidates, online applications for the ‘Only Practical’ examination are being reopened from December 4 from 4 pm to December 17,” the official NBEMS notice reads.
NBEMS will conduct the DNB Final Theory Examination-December 2025 session on December 18, 19, 20 and 21 in a computer-based format (CBT) at various exam centres.

NBEMS has previously extended the thesis submission till November 12. Candidates who pass the theory exam are eligible to appear for the practical exam. Candidates who fail to pass the theory exam will be required to retake the theory exam.
Candidates who have undergone training as a DNB/DrNB trainee at any of the NBEMS-accredited institutes after having registered with NBEMS as a DNB/DrNB trainee and are completing their prescribed training as a DNB/DrNB trainee by the date prescribed and on submission of a certificate to this effect, can undertake the DNB/DrNB Final Examination in the same speciality.
