NEW DELHI: The Delhi Subordinate Service Selection Board (DSSSB) has started the online registration process for the DSSSB Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) recruitment 2024 today, February 8. Candidates can fill out the application form at dsssbonline.nic.in. The last date to fill out the DSSSB TGT form is March 8.

The DSSSB recruitment drive aims to fill 5,118 vacancies for TGTs in math, social science, natural science, physical science, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Punjabi, and drawing.

To apply for DSSSB TGT recruitment, candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. Female applicants, as well as those from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and ex-serviceman categories, are exempted from paying any application fees.

DSSSB TGT Recruitment 2024: Eligibility criteria

Candidates who want to apply for the DSSSB TGT exam 2024 can check the eligibility criteria given below.

  • Candidates should be a minimum of 18 years old and a maximum of 27 years. Age relaxation will apply to candidates from the reserved category.

  • A bachelor's degree (honors/pass) or equivalent from a reputable university in the subject for which the candidate is applying, with at least 45% in aggregate, including one of the school subjects.

  • The applicant should have a degree in education and a basic understanding of Hindi.

  • The candidate should have passed the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)’s Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).

  • Applicants from the SC, ST, and PwD categories will be allowed exemptions from the necessary 45% aggregate at the graduation level. Furthermore, candidates having a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject will be exempt from the minimum 45% mark requirement.

Candidates should follow the steps given below to apply for the DSSSB TGT exam 2024.

  • Visit the DSSSB official website at dsssbonline.nic.in

  • On the homepage, look for “DSSSB TGT Application 2024” link.

  • Complete the registration process and generate the password.

  • Next, log in by entering the credentials generated during registration.

  • Fill out the application form, upload documents and submit

  • Submit the DSSSB TGT application form and take a printout for future reference
