NEW DELHI: The College of Vocational Studies (CVS) of Delhi University (DU) has released the DU first cut off in online mode. The cut off by the DU college has not been released on the DU admission portal, but on its own official website. The DU 2020 first cut off release date for the College of Vocational Studies is October 9, while the DU 2020 first cut off release date for other participating colleges remains as October 10, tentatively.
According to the DU first cut off data of CVS, the cut off for BA (Hons.) History (general category) is comparatively higher this year than last year. For 2020, the DU cut off for BA (Hons.) History at the CVS is 92, while in 2019 the cut off for this programme was 90. This means that admission to this course will be a little tougher than the last year at the college.

Further, the DU first cut off for the college reflects no change in the cut off marks for courses like B.Com. (Hons.), B.A. (Hons.) Economics, B.Sc. (Hons.) Computer Science, B.A. (Hons.) English and B.A. (Hons.) Hindi for general category at CVS.
It must be noted that DU 2020 first cut off is first released by some colleges individually on their respective portals and then later on, a consolidated list of DU cut off is released on the DU official website - du.ac.in. DU cut off 2020 released by the CVS carries the course and category-wise marks based on the best of four formula, which must be secured by the aspiring candidates to ensure a seat at the DU college.
Earlier, St. Stephen College of DU had released its first cut off on September 15. It must be noted that St. Stephen College and Jesus & Mary College of Delhi University release their cut offs a little early than the other DU colleges.
The release of the DU cut off and DU first cut off has been delayed this year due to the nation-wide lockdown and COVID-19 pandemic.
