DU Admission 2018: SRCC announces 1st cutoff; B.Com available at 97.75%, BA (H) Eco at 98.5%

NEW DELHI, JUNE 18: As Delhi University aspirants were eagerly awaiting cutoff for different colleges, Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) announced its first cut-off list today, with higher cutoff in BA (H) Economics even as B.Com (H) programme available at the same percentage of last year.
SRCC usually announces its cutoff much earlier to the announcement of all other Delhi University constituent colleges. The DU admission cutoff for other colleges is scheduled to be declared by June 19, 2018.
The SRCC is the first of other 77 DU colleges to announce its first cutoff in the early evening of June 18.
According to the SRCC 2018 Cutoff, while there has been no change in the cutoff for B.Com (H) admissions, put at 97.75 per cent, this year, the General category candidates applied for BA (H) Economics programme would need 0.75 percentage points more, as compared to last year.
The constituent college of Delhi University calculates the cutoff marks based on Delhi University’s Best of Four subjects formula .
The OBC category candidates would this year need 95.50 per cent for B.Com (H) programme which is 3.25 percentage points on the upper side as compared to last year’s cutoff of 95.50%. The SRCC 2018 admission cutoff for BA (H) Economics is increased by one percentage point to 96.75%, while the seat was available for OBC category candidates at 95.75%, last year.

What next?
DU 2018 applicants who meet the SRCC cutoff for any of their preferred programmes BA (H) Economics and B.Com (H) will need to get their documents verified by visiting the college campus between June 19 and June 21, 2018.
Those who haven’t cleared the SRCC first cutoff 2018 may wait for the other colleges’ cutoff which will be out by tomorrow even as SRCC is expected to announce its second cutoff by June 24, 2018.
