As per the DU admission guidelines, candidates are allowed to choose only one programme and college during admissions against a particular DU cutoff. As per the guidelines, candidates are not allowed to select multiple programmes or colleges in the same round. However, once the second list of cut-offs are declared, candidates can withdraw from the programme they took admission in the first round and change both course and college. However, they must meet the second list cut-off at the new college.
Students applying for admission are instructed to decide the selection of programme and college through their own dashboard. The students who fail to complete the procedure for selecting college and programme will not get admission.
In its statement, DU said, “For admissions to undergraduate merit-based programs for the academic session 2021-22, the university may declare a minimum of five cut-offs, one special cut-off (after 3rd Cut-off) and special drive. The special drive will be subject to vacant seats [being] available."
