DU Admission 2021: Miranda House releases special drive cut-off; BA History dips to 98.5%

The women's only college is offering admission to BA Hons History at 98.5% in unreserved category under the DU special cut-off list 2021.

Download NowNEW DELHI: Delhi University’s Miranda House College has released its special drive cut-off list 2021 for UG merit-based programmes. In the list of honours courses, Miranda House offers admissions only for BA Hons History. The students can see a dip of 0.25% in the cut-off score of BA Hons History in the Miranda House special drive cut-off 2021. Miranda House demands students to have a minimum cut-off score of 98.5% in BA Hons History.

The admissions to science courses were already closed in the fourth round of DU admission 2021. Miranda House has not reopened admissions in science courses in the special drive cut-off. The seats in programmes like BA Hons Sociology and BA Hons Sanskrit in unreserved category which were open in the DU fifth cut-off 2021 are filled.
The college offers admissions in many combinations of BA programmes. For the BA programme English + Economics, the cut-off is 97%. The cut-off for BA programme English + History, BA programme English + Philosophy, BA programme Hindi + Political Science, BA programme Tamil +Political Science and BA programme Economics and Mathematics is 96.25%, 96%, 95%, 85.5% and 97% respectively.
The admission for the DU special drive cut-off 2021 will begin from November 14 and will be over on November 15. The principal of DU colleges will approve the admission of the candidates against the special drive cut-off of DU 2021 by November 16 (5 pm). The deadline to pay the DU admission fee is November 19.
Only those candidates who have not taken admission through any of the previous DU cut-offs are eligible for admission on the basis of DU special drive cut off 2021. “Candidates who could not seek admission or had cancelled their admission in any of the college of the university during any of the preceding cut-offs for any reason till the fifth cutoff (including special cut-off) and were, therefore, not admitted but meet any of the preceding cut-offs and/or cutoff of the special drive, shall be considered for admission under the special drive, provided seats are available in the said category,” reads the official notice available on DU’s official website.
