DU Admission 2025: Over 46,000 apply for UG, 7,586 accept PG seats; 134 take up BTech courses

Delhi University Admission 2025: 11,314 students were allocated PG seats. UG, PG, BTech admissions underway on CSAS portal.
46,366 candidates have registered so far for admission to undergraduate courses in Delhi University through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2025. The applications are open for DU UG admission 2025 and eligible aspirants can apply on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) UG 2025 portal, ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
Delhi University UG admissions 2025 are being organised in two phases for a total of 71,624 seats offered in 60 colleges. Starting this year, the university will use Class 10 marks for breaking ties in case two students secured the same marks.
DU PG admission 2025
Besides, a total of 11,314 students were allocated seats in the first phase of DU PG admission 2025 , based on the CUET PG 2025 scores, of which; 7,586 have accepted the seats. DU PG round 1 seat allotment result 2025 was out on June 17 and the last date for seat acceptance is June 20. The fee payment can be done by June 22 online on pgadmission.uod.ac.in. As per official data, close to 63,400 students applied for PG admissions at DU, with the maximum applications for PG LLB.
The central university has introduced two new MA programmes in tourism management and Hindi journalism along with the single girl child quota in postgraduate admissions this year.
Recently, the university notified that the admission to MA Political Science is subject to the outcome of a plea pending before the High Court of Punjab and Haryana.
DU BTech admission 2025
In case of DU BTech admission 2025, the total acceptance of allocated seats stands at 134. The counselling process is underway at engineering.uod.ac.in. The university is offering three BTech programmes, started two years ago, through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2025. The Faculty of Technology offers BTech Computer Science and Engineering, BTech Electronics and Communication Engineering, and BTech Electrical Engineering.
