DU invites applications for Vice-Chancellor Internship Scheme; apply by May 4

Download NowNEW DELHI: The Dean of Students’ Welfare Office, University of Delhi is inviting applications for the summer internship under the Vice-Chancellor Internship Scheme 2024. Eligible candidates can register for DU VCIS summer internship 2024 on the official website, dsw.du.ac.in. The last date to apply is May 4.

As per the eligibility criteria, all regular bonafide students of DU studying in any course or stream at the undergraduate level or post graduate level are eligible to apply for the summer internship. Final semester or final year students are not eligible.
The DU summer internship programme 2024 includes a flexible 20 hours per week with a minimum stipend of Rs 10,500 per month. Students who have already availed the internship are not eligible.
The period of VCIS summer internship is two months from the date of joining (June-July 2024). Students who complete the internship will get a certificate from the dean of students’ welfare at the end.

- Vice Chancellor's office/ pro vice chancellor's office/office of dean of colleges/ director south campus office/ proctor office/ office of DSW/registrar's office
- Central reference library/ science library/ departmental libraries/ departmental labs
- Examination branch/ admission branch/ research council, sports council
- Equal opportunity cell - (including readers -writers for visually challenged)
- Cluster Innovation Centre /Institute of Life-Long Learning/ WSDC/ Centre of Global Studies, etc.
- SOL, NCWEB
- Any other as approved by the competent authority.
The university launched the internship scheme in the year 2022 to provide internship opportunities to students within DU. Under the internship programme, two kinds of internships are offered – part time and summer internship.
