NEW DELHI, MAY 21: The University of Delhi will conduct JAT 2018 (Joint Admission Test) on Sunday, June 17, 2018, from 4 PM- 6 PM for shortlisting candidates for admissions to undergraduate management programmes at Delhi University’s affiliated institutes. DU JAT 2018 will be administered in an online or computer-based mode. The total duration of the test is two hours; conducted across 18 cities in India. The application process has commenced from May 15, 2018, and continue until Thursday, June 7, 2018 (6 PM). Candidates who will submit the application form along with the stipulated application fee will be able to collect the admit card available around the month of June 2018.

The results will be announced 10 -15 days after the exam date. DU JAT 2018 is conducted for admissions to nine listed colleges, offering Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), 10 colleges which offer B. A (Hons) in Business Economics, two colleges offering BBA (FIA) programmes. The final admissions will be for around 1162 seats across 15 participating institutes of DU JAT.

The exam will consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ’s) divided into four sections. Each section will contain 25 MCQs. Each correct answer will fetch +4 marks, while an incorrect response will face a penalty of -1 mark. Zero Marks (0) is allotted for the unattempted questions. The overall score of DU JAT exam is 400 marks.

The selection of students will be based on DU JAT exam scores and Class XII Board exam scores; the weightages that would be considered are 65 percent and 35 percent respectively. The allotment of course/college will be decided by Delhi University based on the rank secured by the applicant and his/her order of preference of course and college subject to the availability of seats.
